Welcome to the lab

September 10. 2008, under Blog with No Comments

Welcome to our new site and new blog. I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you more about what we do.
We started Geronimo Labs spring 2008 after several years working with many of flex developers in the Sydney /Australian Developer Community on some of Australia’s largest Flex development projects used around the world built for Ford, Toyota, GM, Landrover… etc you know that list.

Back in 2000, we were building AJAX RIAs before the industry terms were coined, Microsoft called it Remote Scripting and DHTML and it was a much cooler way of delivering a better end user experience, at the forefront of the Web 2.0 wave picking up. In 2003 after developing AJAX RIAs without an IDE and chasing the all consuming browser compatibility carrot , Flash seemed to be the logical evolution for building our complex rich enterprise browser based software as a service products, this led us to become early licensees of a little known Macromedia product called Flex.
Almost exclusively working on Flex RIA projects since then we collectively amassed tons of experience in complex RIA development, rich interactive front-ends with stylish and effective interface design accessible to all desktop browser users and interoperability with common back end service technologies.

We’ve enjoyed working on wide diversity of Flex projects, meeting and working with lots of cool interesting people on exciting challenges that generate satisfaction for everybody.

We are excited about the state of RIAs built with Flex and its cross Mobile development capabilities and we’ll continuously aim at delivering our customers with the highest level of excellence and satisfaction possible.

Whether you would like to work with us, discuss a project or anything else, feel free to contact us.
